One BY One Interior Design was founded by Teddy Bechara, Lance Bechara, and Sebastien Youwakim – a multinational dynamic trio with a great deal of experience and passion for unique and innovative interiors.

Meet the Founders
Teddy Bechara – Co-Founder & CEO
Teddy is American-Lebanese who graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2013 with double majors in both Marketing and Management. Upon graduation, he went on to join General Electric’s prestigious and world-renowned Financial Management Program where he received his Master’s degree in Corporate Finance while working on numerous intricate assignments and projects with the company. His perfectionist personality and hardworking nature led him to his latest role at General Electric where he currently stands as Chief Financial Officer leading their GE Digital business for the Middle East and Africa regions.
Nonetheless, since childhood, Teddy has always had a passion for unique exciting interiors and a very sharp eye for geometry and symmetry. This led him to delve into the art space where he founded CloudShop in 2018, an immensely successful online art store, which currently stands as one of the world’s leading online art stores. With this move, Teddy’s fascination and interest in the interior design space intensified even further, leading him to team up with the perfect partners, and establish One BY One.
Having worked with a massive conglomerate operating globally and managing its different businesses, and having founded an online art store that has made a worldwide impact upon its inception, the diversity of skills and experience he brings to One BY One is second to none. The experience he amassed in Finance, Marketing, Management, Customer Service, and E-Commerce allows Teddy to govern the company with a very unique approach. We believe that at the core of every successful company, with ambitions far beyond the norm, is an individual who brings such qualities and experience to the mix.
Sebastien Youwakim – Co-Founder & Creative Director
Sebastien Youwakim is French-Lebanese who graduated from Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts (ALBA) earning his bachelor’s degree in Architecture in 2012. Soon after, while pursuing his Master’s degree in Architecture, he created three breakthrough conceptual design projects: Iteration, Trash-Hill-Toy, and Static-X that were awarded and published in Specimen zero (a novel generative design family containing a deeper scope of “free forms”).
In 2015, post completing his graduate degree, Sebastien was certified by the Interior Ministry and registered with the Order of Engineers Syndicate under number 49559.
He then joined QeblawiBrooks, a Dubai-based creative design studio with a track record of delivering high-end residential and commercial projects in the UAE, UK, Nigeria, and India. Sebastien worked on various high-end projects around the world implementing different styles of Architecture such as Classical, Neoclassical, Art Deco, Modernism, and Contemporary Architecture. Due to his detail-oriented mind and consistent excellent performance, he later became a Lead Designer in QB. Sebastien’s work is well known for its high creativity, providing exclusive tailored residential and commercial design solutions for the finest of clientele.
The experience that Sebastien has amassed in architecture in the last century is at the core of One BY One’s outstanding design solutions. Capable of problem solving and providing solutions to the trickiest of spaces, his leadership and influence on our architectural team results in clever visionary outcomes.
Lance Bechara – Co-Founder & Project Director
Assaad Bechara, aka Lance, is American-Lebanese who graduated from New York University with a Master degree in Civil and Mechanical Engineering. A certified engineer by the Interior Ministry and registered with the Order of Engineers Syndicate under number 10101, Lance possesses a stupendous amount of experience in the construction and design industry.
In 2010, he founded and managed a construction and interior design firm in Lebanon, voted as one of the best companies in the field by the Lebanese construction community. AB2 for Design and Execution took on various innovative projects in Lebanon and abroad, and delivered successfully while gaining the trust of its global clientele. Today, it still stands as a sister company to One BY One, serving in efficiently delivering projects in the region.
In 2018, Lance made the move to the UAE as he fell in love with the ambitions and visions of the country for the construction and design industry – it felt like home. His experience led him to manage massive scale projects as a consultant in Abu Dhabi.
Soon after, he teamed up with Teddy and Sebastien to establish One BY One, as all three possessed the same passion and vision of creating an entity that becomes recognized globally as one of the best in the industry.
Each one of the founders of One BY One brings to the table a spice that benefits the client who is looking for top price, top quality, and top service, with capabilities to fulfill any dream and turn it into reality.
